The Iberian Atlantic Margin Symposium (MIA) is a multidisciplinary scientific meeting between Portugal and Spain, held every three years.
In 2025, the Hydrographic Institute will host the 11th MIA Symposium.
This symposium is an informal and open meeting aimed at presenting and discussing the latest methods and research findings, as well as activities carried out by researchers and postgraduate students, on the processes and evolution of the Iberian Atlantic Margin. These topics are organized into thematic scientific sessions.
The 11th Iberian Atlantic Margin Symposium will take place on October 29, 30, and 31, 2025, at the Hydrographic Institute.
