EMODnet Ingestion 2

The EMODnet Data Inception 2 project continues the work started with the EMODnet Data Inception. The main objective is to increase and diversify open marine data sets available in European infrastructure. Partners contribute to the project through actions to promote proximity and demonstration of the benefit to the society resulting from data sharing.

The expected impact is to integrate a coherent and harmonised data set according to data management standards and best practices. Partners, recognised data centres, carry out collaborative work monitoring the community in the process of preparing and integrating data into infrastructure through the EMODnet Ingestion portal.

The project contributes to the re-use of information and blue society and for Marine Knowledge 2020 strategy.
