Hydrographic Institute receives RELACRE visit

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) received a visit from a team from RELACRE - Association of Accredited Laboratories of Portugal on Tuesday, June 23rd, as part of the institutional contacts previously established between the two institutions.

The visit included the participation of Engineer Ana Duarte, Director of Relacre, Doctor Teresa Diamantino from LNEG, Board Member of RELACRE, and Engineer Cláudia Silva, Proficiency Testing Area Director.

During the visit, the team had the opportunity to tour the Marine Geology and the Chemistry and Marine Pollution Laboratories, getting to know some of the technical and scientific capabilities developed by the IH in these fields.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between both institutions, promote the sharing of technical knowledge, and deepen dialogue in areas of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of quality, accreditation, and laboratory testing.

The Hydrographic Institute thanks RELACRE for the visit, as well as their willingness to develop future joint initiatives.
