Hydrographic Institute receives visit from the Police Course of Marine Establishments

Hydrographic Institute and Port Administration of Setúbal and Sesimbra sign Inter-administrative Cooperation Agreement

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the Administration of Ports of Setúbal and Sesimbra, S.A. (APSS) signed on February 27, 2025, in the premises of the Port of Setúbal, an Inter-administrative Cooperation Agreement. The signing of the protocol was attended by the members of the Board of Directors of APSS, Carlos Correia, Carla Ribeiro and Ricardo Roque, and by the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral João Paulo Ramalho Marreiros and Fragrate Captain Carlos Videira Marques.

This protocol, signed by the Director-General of the IH, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, and the President of the APSS, Engineer Carlos Correia, aims to establish the appropriate cooperation for the production of official hydrographic cartography concerning the Ports of Setúbal and Sesimbra, as well as the Nautical Cartography in order to ensure safety in navigation, ensuring maritime accessibility and safeguarding the environment.
