Hydrographic Institute opens doors for cultural visit
As part of the cultural visits to the Convent of the Trinas of Mocambo, headquarters of the Hydrographic Institute, a visit was held yesterday, December 14, from a group of visitors to the “Lisbon Municipal Chamber – Center for Heritage Studies”.
The twenty visitors carried out the traditional circuit through the visitable premises of the former Trinitarian convent, having been able to observe in the current architectural complex the traces of past functions and uses. In addition to the expressive collection of baroque tiles, the target of general admiration, some emblematic pieces of the Institute's technical and scientific collections were also appreciated.
