Declaration of Accessibility and Usability

The Hydrographic Institute undertakes to make available the website Hydrographic, in accordance with Decree-Law No 83/2018 of 19 October 2016 transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on accessibility of websites and mobile applications.

I. Conformity status

The website Hydrographic the Hydrographic Institute is fully in line with Decree-Law No 83/2018 of 19 October.

II. Preparation of this declaration of accessibility and usability

This declaration was updated to 2026-04-16.

In accordance with Article 9 of Decree-Law No 83/2018, entities are required to adopt the following monitoring procedures. Procedures A) and B) are mandatory. Procedure C) is recommended.

V. Discrimination

In accordance with Article 13(1) of Decree-Law No 83/2018 of 19 October, where a person with disabilities is treated less favourably than that who is, has been or will be given to another person in a comparable situation, who constitutes a discriminatory practice against persons with disabilities, provided for and punished under the terms of the Article 4 of Law No 46/2006 of 28 AugustThe person may lodge a complaint in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law No 34/2007 of 15 February.

The National Institute for Rehabilitation (INR, I.P.), provides a form to report discrimination situations, forwarding the complaints to the competent authorities. Annually, the INR, I.P. draws up an annual report on law enforcement prohibiting and punishing discrimination on the grounds of disability and the existence of an increased health risk (Law No 46/2006 of 28 August).

This Declaration of Accessibility and Usability was created with the help of WAI-Tools PT v1.5 generator, developed under the project WAI-Tools, of which the AMA is an integral part. The Declaration was conceived in accordance with Decree-Law No 83/2018 of 19 October.
